How To Deal With Anxiety: Reduce Worry and Stress

Articles, Uncategorized
As Healthline.com describes, "everyone has anxiety from time to time, but chronic anxiety can negatively impact your quality of life." Anxiety can come about due to various factors, such as a deficiency, exhaustion, worrying. In this article I would like to focus particularly on worrying. Worrying As explained on WebMD, "when worrying becomes excessive, it can lead to feelings of high anxiety and even cause you to be physically ill." Worrying is defined as feeling uneasy or being overly concerned about a situation or problem. Many chronic worriers are described as being ultra sensitive to their environment and to the criticism of others. Excessive worriers may see anything and anyone as a potential threat. Many people resort to harmful lifestyle habits as a result of their anxiety, such as overeating,…

Natural Anxiety Relief: Using Supplements

Articles, Uncategorized
Using supplements is a great resource for natural anxiety relief. I have tried a few, which I will review in this post. I would caution you however to always first check with your medical practitioner before taking any supplements, and be guided as to dosage, side effects and benefits. St. John's Wort I first learnt of St. John's Wort through reading a book By Carolyn Dean The Magnesium Miracle (Revised and Updated 2014 Edition) (Updated). As a recommended treatment for anxiety and depression, Dr. Dean references a number of supplements, including "St. John's wort: 300 mg standardized extract 3 times a day."  There a number of brands that carry St John's Wort, but I have tried this particular brand by Nature's Bounty. Articles, Uncategorized
This article explains natural ways to reduce anxiety in just about any situation, but I would like to focus a bit on work situations, because work is where I face my greatest anxiety and I am certain that other people who face anxiety at work could also benefit from my experience and the information I share in this post. My Personal Story with the Panic Away Program The Panic Away  program by Barry McDonagh, has thus far made a profound difference in my life. Courage and Panic Attacks

Articles, Uncategorized
I was deeply inspired when I read the following article by Barry McDonagh. As someone who experiences anxiety in the simplest of situations I can completely relate to what he describes below. People who have never experienced a panic attack often judge the anxious person harshly. The outsider has no real comprehension of what is happening to the person experiencing a panic attack and wonders why they fear to do the simplest things. I know myself that I could not understand how overnight I went from being a confident young man to someone who became anxious of common everyday situations. Going places took on a whole new dimension as I constantly evaluated if being there might trigger a panic attack.  (more…)
